CoolPeel® CO2 Laser
CoolPeel is an ablative CO₂ laser treatment that reduces fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage while improving skin tone and texture. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm, prickly or spicy feeling. Although it is very tolerable for most without numbing (one of the many reasons why we love this device), we do allow time to apply a topical numbing cream before treatment to ensure you are comfortable.

Results can be seen after just one treatment, but a series of 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal, long-lasting results.

With our Helix device, a full-face & neck laser treatment can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Appointments are scheduled for about one hour, depending on the treatment area, to include time for numbing prior to treatment.

One of the main benefits of a CoolPeel or Fusion treatment is the minimal downtime.
You may experience mild redness (like a sunburn) for 1–2 days. Some dryness or flaking may occur as your skin heals. Most patients return to normal activities immediately, though sun protection and hydration are key during recovery.

Results vary, but you will start to see improvements within a few weeks with continued improvements up to 3 months or more.

After your CoolPeel, Sultra, or Fusion treatments it is important to keep your skin hydrated and there are certain products you should avoid.
It’s best to wait at least 24–48 hours before applying makeup to allow your skin to heal and avoid irritation.
You will receive instructions outlining post-treatment care and when you can return to your daily skincare regimen.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

2-4 WEEKS BEFORE TREATMENT:
Avoid sun exposure. Use SPF 30+ sunscreen with zinc oxide when exposed.
Do not have any vaccines for at least two weeks before or after treatment.
1 WEEK BEFORE TREATMENT:
Discontinue Retin-A, Glycolics, Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids, and exfoliants.
Notify your provider if you have cold sores; you may need medication beforehand.
Hydrate your skin. Moisturize twice daily and drink plenty of water.
24 HOURS BEFORE TREATMENT:
If prone to cold sores, take your anti-viral medication.
DAY OF TREATMENT:
Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, lotion, perfume, or oils on the treatment area.
Be prepared to avoid face coverings for about 24 hours as your skin releases heat from the treatment.

Schedule ahead or let us know upon arrival you would like to add PRP to your treatment. As you numb, your provider will prepare you for a blood draw and provide you with your own plasma when treatment is completed.
